Looking for a Healthy Lifestyle? Call the Buenos Aires Life Centre!

Meet Jennifer Klueppel, owner of Buenos Aires Life Centre.  Jennifer wants to help you find centeredness.

Jennifer has lived in various cities throughout western Canada. This is her first time living outside of Canada and now she has been living in Buenos Aires for the last 3 years. She has traveled throughout South America, Europe, and North America.

Jennifer started the Buenos Aires Life Centre with Dina Samelis of Happy Sun Yoga. We wanted to create a community space of well being. We offer massage therapy, thai massage, reiki, yoga, pilates, and wholistic health counseling. She found it quite tricky to find work when she first arrived in Buenos Aires. Though she had always thought about starting my own business, moving to Buenos Aires made it seem like the perfect time to get started. After meeting with Dina they decided to join forces and combine a massage business with a yoga business.

We believe that everyone can get a healthy body, mind, soul and heart through balanced life choices. Follow a program of exercises and good nutrition that not only feeds your body but will manifest in a deeper level of well-being and allow you to grow more fully into your True Self.

We are happy to announce that the Buenos Aires Life Centre is now operating in Barrio Norte, French 2647, 5e.

Are you on Facebook?  Visit us at Buenos Aires Life Centre.

Need to know more…

What is a Pub Quiz?

For those of you who are not familiar with the concept, here is a little guide to help understand what is going on.

The First Rule of Pub Quiz

The First Rule of Pub Quiz

What is a Pub Quiz?

It’s a general knowledge quiz held in a pub, bar or café. The attendees form teams and one person (the Quizmaster) asks the questions split into rounds. At the end of each round the questions are marked and a score is given to each team. After all the questions have been asked the team with the most points wins. In the case of a draw a tiebreaker question is used. The winning team usually wins alcohol.

What sort of questions are there?

General Knowledge can cover everything from history to music to geography to sport to everything in between. They are designed to be not too difficult, but hard enough to generate debate! You can see the questions from previous Cigale Pub Quizzes here.

Are there any rules?

Not really, the idea is to have fun. Teams of up to 6 people are allowed and it’s a good idea not to shout the answer out too loud if you know it – you don’t want to help out the opposition! In a dispute, the Quizmaster’s decision is final!

When is the next quiz?

The date of the next quiz will be posted on this site as soon as it is confirmed. At the moment it is always on a Monday evening in La Cigale. You can also use thelatest tag to see the next date.

I’m organising my own Pub Quiz – can you help?

Of course – you can use the questions posted on this site for your own quiz – they are freely available. If you need anything else, drop me a line.

Play Date This Wednesday!

The BA Mamas and their kiddos are invited for a standing playdate every other Wednesday at my house from 10:00am-12:00pm, next up, Wednesday, October 3!

I have a good sized room that can be completely closed off, and it is full of little people toys. I thought we could get together in there and chat while the babies wander around and play to their heart’s content.

Join us this week!

Wednesday, October 3, 2012 from 10:00 to 12:00.

Come on by if you’re around.
I’ll put up a reminder every other week for the next playdate.

Email Niccole de Campos niccoledecampos@mac.com to RSVP and for address.  See you Wednesday!
