Colors in La Boca

A guided walk through one of the most picturesque areas of the city

La Boca is known around the world and visited by every tourist who comes to Buenos Aires. But we don’t often connect the modern La Boca with the city’s history. On this tour we will take a look at La Boca with a different lens, relating the Río de La Plata with the work of the well known La Boca painter Benito Quinquela Martín.

Ezequiel will guide us through Caminito Street, a former tenement, and then take us to visit one of the floors of the Quinquela Martín Museum.
Cost: BAIN Downtown member: 240 pesos
Non-BAIN Downtown member: 290 pesos

The cost includes the entrance to the Quinquela Martín Museum.

Date: Saturday, May 27
Time: 10:00 am

Meeting Point: At the entrance of Fundación Proa, 1929 Don Pedro de Mendoza Avenue. Buenos Aires

Finishing Point: Same as the starting point.

Hello BAIN ladies!
Please join us for this month’s Ladies Night Out.  It will be really special. This time we will discover an exclusive place in Recoleta. Presidente Bar just opened 2 months ago and it has a spectacular cocktail menu with a local twist. They buy organic products from small entrepreneurs to add a regional touch to their 24 original recipes. They include ingredients such as Huacatay from Jujuy, Centolla from Ushuaia, Patagonian honey and fruit from Misiones (home of the Iguazu Falls). It will be an amazing night with the #drinkteam (as they call themselves).

The special includes two drinks (original cocktails or wine) and finger food, a bit pricey.  It’s worth it.
And for those who decide to stay and have a nightcap, we have a hidden gem ready to welcome you…
Check the link and get ready!
